KHIE to Transition Participants to New ​​Technology Platform.​**************************************************

KHIE will transition all participating organizations to a new technology platform in partnership with CRISP Shared Services (CSS), a national provider of health information infrastructure and data exchange services.

T​​his change is essential for KHIE's long-term sustainability and will support the continued delivery of tools and services at no cost to participants.  The new platform and shared services model will improve efficiency and better support the evolving needs of Kentucky's healthcare community.

The transition will begin in spring 2025 and continue through the end of the year.  All current services and tools will remain available throughout the process; there is no expected disruption in services.

​Focusing Efforts to Transition current ePartnerViewer users to New Portal

We are incredibly grateful for our Participants' continued support and active engagement during our transition to new technology.  While data continues to populate the KHIE Portal, our Outreach and Training team is committed to providing comprehensive training and support to ensure end-user readiness,   

We are thrilled to announce the launch of a new user management tool designed to give the designated KHIE Admins direct control to manage user access.  We are implementing a phased rollout of an extensive training plan and invite you begin training on the new portal.  With the goal of having all users transitioned by March 1, 2026, using the train-the-trainer approach, we will equip you with the skills to master user provisioning.  

In this phase of the training rollout, we are offering virtual training on the new KHIE Portal and its integrated tools to our designated KHIE Admins.  Watch for communications detailing the virtual training sessions occurring during the month of February 2026.   As a bonus, in March, we plan to extend these sessions to all users, minimizing the burden on KHIE Admins.  Watch for upcoming communications detailing the March sessions! ​
